Tesco holds 1st LiveWell Kids event!

“The Tesco superstore in Lee Mills Ivybridge, hosted an awareness event for LiveWell kids during March. Rob Sandford, the local Chiropractor met parents and gave out information for local children. The event was well supported by Tesco and Rob was delighted by the positive response of parents to the new campaign. Rob comments “the LiveWell kids exercises are very easy to do and can be great fun when parents and their children exercise together. With more time being spent at games consoles and computers than ever before there is a real need for keeping kid’s spines active.”

Royal & Sun Alliance welcomes LiveWell at Work

Staff at the insurance company Royal & Sun Alliance received visits from local chiropractors during February and March. The visits coincided with the launch of LiveWell@ work, the information and exercise based programme for staff. The feedback was very positive with staff spending just ½ hour of their day to learn simple spinal health exercises, designed to keep the back strong and healthy. Organiser David Elphick commented; “the exercises are just part of an overall message of keeping the staff active at work. Sitting down for long periods can have a negative effect on posture but also mood and energy. Keeping a sense of vitality helps staff stay on track for a productive and enjoyable day.”
