3 magic minutes to better health!
LiveWell kids is a special initiative, inspired by Straighten Up America. Here you’ll find a simple set of spinal health exercises for your child and advice from your chiropractor.

We know that children have bundles of energy and can get bored doing what 'Mum says’. That’s why these spinal health exercises only take a few minutes. Kids can do them when they brush their teeth in the morning and at night time.

Children throughout the world are regularly doing these simple exercises, following our advice and preventing back problems in later life.

The exercises are designed for healthy children. Check with your chiropractor before starting this program to make sure the exercises are appropriate for your child’s specific needs. To contact your local United Chiropractic Association approved Chiropractor please click here.

Schools

LiveWell approved specialist practitioners are available to provide a community service, free of charge to your school. The exercises can be demonstrated in a morning assembly or specially convened class.

In countries like Australia it is normal practice for school children to have spinal health checks, just like having hearing and eye tests. Spinal health checks can be arranged for your school with an approved and registered chiropractor. A spinal health check involves two main aspects;

1. Balance and posture check
2. School bag weight check

The chiropractor can provide information for each child with advice for parents. Many of the chiropractors within the United Chiropractic Association have studied specialist courses in paediatrics.

The United Chiropractic Association also provides classroom posters to accompany the healthy child exercise brochure. These can be viewed and downloaded here.
